FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officials with Super Shot are urging Hoosiers to get their flu shots as part of National Influenza Vaccination Week, which runs through Dec. 10.

Super Shot currently has the flu vaccine available for children 6 months to 18 years-old that are uninsured, underinsured, or who are eligible for Medicaid. The cost is $10 per shot and Super Shot will bill Medicaid if the child is eligible.

Kelly Zachrich, Executive Director for Super Shot also says, they now have flu vaccines available for adults 19 and older who are uninsured or underinsured. The cost is $10 per shot for adults as well.

No one will be turned away for the inability to pay.

Super Shot has also been selected as one of WOWO’s 2016 Brigadoon Fitness Penny Pitch recipients.

Super Shot’s mission is to promote vaccinations and provide access to immunizations across the county. For more information you can visit supershot.org.
