MONROEVILLE, Ind. (WOWO) – After about an hour of deliberation, jurors from Allen County found Cody Fyock of Monroeville, guilty of rape, sexual battery and breaking and entering.

The victim indicated that Fyock started hitting on her and touching her at the Moontower Tavern in Monroeville.  She indicated that she was creeped out by Fyock and looked at her friend and said “help.”

Later on, the victim stated that she walked home drunk from the bar.  She had left her door unlocked for her friend as her friend was going to come and check on her later, according to our partners in news at ABC21.

A neighbor had heard a man’s voice coming from the victim’s home indicating she was in pain and saying “no” repeatedly.  The neighbor then asked who’s there and the suspect stated his name “It’s me Cody Fyock.”  He was told to get out by the neighbor.  Fyock left the residence, leaving his pants, shirt and underwear on the floor.

A couple of hours later, the neighbor hear the victim in the bathroom crying.  She indicated to detectives that she remembers Fyock being on top of her but then passed out.  Fyock’s sentencing is set for February 15.
