FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man who allegedly admitted to killing his mother is now charged with murder.
Jason Steiss, 34, was formally charged with murder during his initial court hearing on Tuesday according to Our Partners in News at ABC 21.

Police found Joy Steiss, 64 of Fort Wayne, fighting for her life in a home on Stanford Avenue last Wednesday. She later died at a hospital. The Allen County Coroner reports she died of strangulation, and ruled her manner of death a homicide.
Steiss allegedly admitted to police he bit, struck, punched and choked his mother.
