Woman pulled from pond near Carroll High School

HUNTERTOWN, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is in critical condition after she was pulled out of a pond Friday morning near Carroll High School.

First responders found a young boy was trying to stay above water in a pond off of Carroll Creek Run, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.

While saving a boy, first responders noticed a woman was unresponsive nearby. Both were rescued from the water.

The boy is said to be in good condition, but the woman had to be rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

The woman is a relative of the young boy.
