Winds a suspected factor in semi truck crash

WOODBURN, Ind. (WOWO): The driver of a semi was injured when his truck flipped onto its side on US 24 this afternoon.

The driver was injured and had to be pulled from the vehicle by firefighters, according to WANE-TV.

Wind gusts in the area have been as strong as 46 miles per hour today, according to the National Weather Service, and officials believe the wind was a factor in the crash.
