FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The nation’s biggest retailer is recalling a piece of camping equipment due to an injury hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Walmart is recalling 14-inch Ozark Trail camp axes due to at least two reports of the axe head flying off the handle, causing minor cuts and abrasions.

The recalled axes sold at Walmart stores and online from January 2017 to July 2018 at about $8 each.

If you have one of the recalled axes, which have a black, non-slip rubber grip and a claw feature and model number 60111140, return it to any Walmart for a full refund.
