Vandals do $50K in damage to LaGrange County Church

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Police in LaGrange County are looking for whoever’s responsible for the vandalism of a church.

The County Sheriff’s Department says someone broke into the Pretty Prairie United Methodist Church between 9pm Friday and 6am Saturday and overturned pews, destroyed a church organ, damaged some stained glass windows, and spray painted words like “KKK”, “666,” and “Allah” on the church’s walls, as well as upside-down crosses on all of the pews.

The damage is estimated at $50,000. If you know who’s responsible, or have any information on the crime, contact police.
