VAN WERT, Ohio (WOWO): Police in Van Wert are investigating the death of an infant.

Police were called to a home in the 800 block of Leeson Avenue Thursday afternoon, and confirmed that they’ve ruled the child’s death “suspicious.”

The Lima News reports an autopsy on the child is pending.

Police aren’t saying what led them to believe the death is suspicious, and they’re also not talking yet on whether they anticipate any charges will be filed.
