UPDATE: New Haven man arrested after admitting to killing wife, wife identified

NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO) – One man has been arrested for murder in New Haven Thursday.

New Haven Police were called to a home in the 1900 block of Medford Drive after reports of a possible homicide.

Police were first notified after Wiley Brown III, 26, walked into the New Haven Police Department’s lobby around 2:30 a.m. Thursday and announced he had killed his wife.

When officers arrived at the home, they found his wife, identified as Courtney Marie Brown, 24, dead at the scene. She had been shot in the head.

Her death was ruled a homicide.

Brown was booked in the Allen County Jail and faces one charge of murder.
