Two suspects arrested in LaGrange drug bust

LAGRANGE, Ind. (WOWO): Two Howe residents have been arrested after police say they sold drugs.

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police worked together to investigate an allegation of dealing drugs and theft of $24,000 in cash and checks. They served a search warrant at in the 1600 block of W. State Road 120 and found Ariel Allen, 25, and Michael Sawyer, 27, of Howe.

Police say they found a significant amount of meth, marijuana and Paraphernalia in the residence.

The report also mentions that the suspects have been linked to the stolen cash and checks.

Both Allen and Sawyer are facing one count of possession of meth, one count of possession marijuana, one count of possession of paraphernalia and one count of maintaining a common nuisance.

Police say Additional may charges may be added, as the investigation is ongoing.
