Ticketmaster begins issuing free tickets in lawsuit settlement

(Darrin Wright/1190 WOWO 107.5 FM)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): If you’ve used Ticketmaster to buy tickets to a concert or sporting event over the past few years, you may have some free tickets headed your way.

Some people logging into their Ticketmaster accounts and checking for “active vouchers” today will find a code for two free general admission tickets for “approved events”.

It’s part of a settlement Ticketmaster made in response to a class action lawsuit that accused them of charging “order processing fees” that were never refunded, according to CNN Money.

Ticketmaster has set up a special website that will list the events you can use your free tickets on, but so far nothing’s been finalized. Check the site here.
