FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Despite the cold temperatures, the 45th annual Fort Wayne March for Life will take place this Saturday at noon.

The event, sponsored by Allen County Right to Life, is a peaceful protest to the 1973 Supreme Court Ruling that legalized abortion across the country through all nine months of pregnancy. Local pro-life citizens will participate in the rally and March for Life. The event is expected to see nearly 2,000 participants.

The event starts at the Saint Francis Performing Arts Center located at 431 W. Berry Street in Fort Wayne.  The March for Life begins there and continues down Ewing, Webster, Wayne, Calhoun and Douglas Avenue and will conclude outside of the E. Ross Adair Federal Building. The event is set to start at 12:00 P.M. and end at 2:00 p.m.
