FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – Sport Wayne, the organization behind the Fort Wayne Adventure Games, has signed a letter of intent to open a facility at Electric Works.
The organization will design and open a sizable, state-of-the-art climbing gym and adventure park, named Rush Rock Gym, in the former Building 36 on the western edge of the development’s campus.
Rush Rock Gym will include approximately 30,000-square-feet of climbing space, with an Olympic-sized speed climbing wall, an adventure zone for kids, and dedicated space for bouldering, parkour, rappelling and zip lines. It will also include an all-abilities/adaptive climbing space for climbers with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities.
Upon completion, the space is expected to be one of the largest climbing gyms in the state of Indiana, and will be able to host both regional and national climbing competitions.
This is an awesome addition to the city!
