DELWAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana State Police is investigating a crash that left a church alongside Interstate 69 destroyed after a semi pulling a flatbed trailer drove through it.

According to their report, the crash happened shortly before 2pm when the driver of the truck apparently began choking on a cough drop, lost control of his vehicle, and plowed through the Living Hope Church at 14300 CR 900 W. There was nobody inside the church at the time, and the driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The crash indirectly caused a four-car crash nearby on northbound I-69 as drivers slowed down to look at the scene.
