Search warrant in Fort Wayne results in arrest and felony charges

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Division executed a search warrant around 7:33 p.m. on Thursday night at the 1000 block of Huffman Street which led to the arrest of 52-year-old Khristopher K. Kropp.  The warrant was issued due to information received indicating that Kropp was dealing methamphetamine from that residence.

According to detectives, Kropp was inside the home when they arrived.  Officers obtained .5 grams of methamphetamine, .6 grams of synthetic drugs and paraphernalia.

While at the residence, investigators identified a storage unit that was visited frequently by Kropp.   At that point, a second search warrant was executed at the 4500 block of Newaygo Road.  At that location, detectives recovered 1 gram of Methamphetamine, 5 grams of synthetic drugs and paraphernalia.

Kropp was charged with multiple felony counts of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe and possession of a synthetic like substance.

The investigation is still ongoing.
