WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP): Purdue University officials are set to determine whether its president, former Indiana governor Mitch Daniels, has earned a possible $210,000 in incentive pay.
The Lafayette Journal & Courier reports the university’s board of trustees is scheduled to vote on his incentive pay Friday. They’ll determine whether he hit targets for a number of metrics in four categories, including student affordability, student success, fundraising and the university’s reputation and excellence.
Daniels is guaranteed $420,000 for his base salary. His total salary could reach $630,000 if he receives all of the at-risk pay.
He’ll also receive an additional $100,000 the trustees pledges to give him last year if he stayed until June 30, 2016.
Daniels received 90 percent of the $126,000 of possible at-risk pay in the 2014-2015 academic year.
