Orland sex offender accused of failing to register

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Steuben County man is in jail after police say he failed to register has a sex or violent offender.

On Wednesday, Matthew Ray Epperson, 31, of Orland turned himself in to the Steuben County Jail after a warrant was issue for his arrest, according to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office.

He was charged with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 5 felony. He was booked into jail on a $5,000 bond.
