FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One person is dead and another person is in critical condition after a Tuesday night shooting in Fort Wayne.

Shots were fired around 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of East State Boulevard near California Avenue.  Allegedly the shooting took place in an alley behind the State Grill on East State Boulevard, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Once on the scene, officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after the incident, two people, who could be suspects in the shooting, arrived at a local hospital. One was suffering from gunshot wounds and is in critical condition.

The shooting remains under investigation and officials with the Allen County Coroners Office will release the name of the deceased man pending family notification.
