UPDATE: One dead, one hurt in Fort Wayne shooting

UPDATE: FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner has identified the man killed in a Sunday night shooting on the south side of Fort Wayne.

29-year-old Tramane Scott of Fort Wayne was found down, suffering from gunshot wounds, on Masterson Avenue near South Clinton. Police were called to the scene on reports of a drive-by. Once there they rushed Scott to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Scott is the 26th homicide in Allen County for 2018.

Officers are asking anyone who knows what happened to contact them immediately.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are investigating a shooting on the south side of Fort Wayne that left one man dead and at least one other person in serious condition Sunday night.

The Fort Wayne Police Department was called to the 200 block of East Masterson at around 7:30pm on reports of a drive-by shooting in which the suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle.

By the time they arrived, officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One died at an area hospital, while the other is still receiving treatment. Police say they received word while on the scene that two more victims had walked to a hospital, also suffering from gunshot wounds. Their conditions were not released.

Detectives have spoken with neighbors as well as any possible witnesses, and Crime Scene Technicians are processing the scene for any possible evidence. Detectives also responded to the hospital to speak with the victims that walked into the hospital to see if they were involved in this incident as well or if it was a separate incident.
