Ohio man arrested for threatening another man with handgun

MERCER COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO) – A Rockford man was arrested in Mercer County Friday morning after allegedly threatening another man with a gun.

Our partners in news at ABC 21 report the Rockford Police Department was called to the 200 block of West Market Street just before 5 a.m.

A woman reported to police that a man was outside her door threatening her boyfriend while holding a gun.

Police found the man on the premises. He was uncooperative and intoxicated. He also refused to identify himself.

The man was arrested, and later identified as Zachary Haney. He had an outstanding warrant out of Mercer County, and was transported to the Mercer County Jail.

Police report they also found a .25 Caliber handgun and drugs in the area.
