FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The next phases of Fort Wayne’s Riverfront Development plan could involve so-called “core” districts.

At a public input session held at North Side High School last night, the David Rubin Land Collective told those in attendance schematics for the second phase of development should be done by the time Phase 1, which includes Promenade Park, opens on June 21st.

The Journal Gazette reports the next phases are focused on engaging with “private dollars” such as office space, grocery and pharmacy space, and the creation of several “riverfront core” hubs at Headwaters Park, near the water treatment plant, and Bloomingdale and Guldin Parks.
