New Jefferson Pointe owners vow to “freshen up” property

(WOWO News)

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Arizona-based development company that bought Jefferson Pointe earlier this week says you can expect new shopping experiences at the outdoor mall in Fort Wayne.

Scott Rehorn of RED Development tells our Partners in News at ABC 21 they want to add some more original restaurants and retailers to lure more people out:

“We plan to make Jefferson Pointe thrive like never before and re-establish it as the premier shopping, dining, entertainment and social destination in Fort Wayne.”

RED Development was the original developer of Jefferson Pointe, and “jumped at the chance” to buy it back from Institutional Mall Investors LLC  when they learned it was for sale.

Rehorn says the mall will more resemble a “modern-day lifestyle center” when they’re done, with more details coming next month.
