FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The medical license of a Fort Wayne doctor accused of having sexual relationships with several patients is suspended a while longer.
Dr. Cortney Schwartz has been under emergency suspension since November. The Indiana Medical Licensing Board and his attorney agreed to extend the suspension at least until a full disciplinary hearing is held in a few months, according to the Journal-Gazette.
He’s admitted to having sexual relationships with a dozen women that were either his patients or patients of other doctors.
A new complaint filed last week alleges he gave abortion medication to a patient he was having sex after she revealed she was pregnant. She was unaware the medication causes an abortion.
