Man shot to death in southeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man was shot to death Monday night in southeast Fort Wayne.

Fort Wayne Police were called to a block west of Hessen Cassel Road at about 11:15 p.m. Monday on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man lying on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Witnesses say four or five men in a white chevy 4-door vehicle followed the man home from a nearby gas station. The men opened fire when he got out of his car, according to police.

Police are reviewing video surveillance from the gas station to try and identify the suspects. The victim’s name has not yet been released.
