FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting outside Rabbit’s Gentleman’s Club early Saturday morning that left a man in critical condition.
At a little after 2AM, police were called to the club on South Calhoun Street after a black male opened fire, hitting one man in the groin area near the club’s entrance. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, but was later downgraded to “critical.”
An FWPD media release says witnesses saw the shooter flee the scene heading east on Brackenridge Street, then south on Clinton Street in what’s described as a “dark colored vehicle.”
Police are reviewing the club’s surveillance video, and are hoping to learn more once they interview the victim. If you know what happened, call Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-7867.
