FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of a 60-year-old woman.

The body of Carmen Hughes was found by family members in her south-side apartment last Friday afternoon. She had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The Journal Gazette reports her son, 40-year-old Cordell Hughes, has been arrested and charged with murder in the case.

Carmen Hughes was the second homicide victim of the year for Allen County.
