FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 30-year-old man was arrested after police say he ran from a crash that left one person dead.

Brody Levi Brunson Sr. was arrested and preliminary charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

At about 1:35 p.m., crews were called to the intersection of Coliseum Boulevard and Parnell Avenue on reports of a crash.

Police believe a vehicle was speeding on eastbound Coliseum Boulevard and rear ended a SUV that was stopped at a red light. The collision caused two other vehicles to crash.

One of the drivers was hospitalized in critical condition, but died at the hospital.

Brunson was driving the vehicle that caused the crash. He and his passenger ran away from the scene, according to police. Then, he called police and tried to report his vehicle stolen. But, police say surveillance video captured images of Brunson running from the scene.
