Kosciusko County police searching for fraud suspects

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office is searching for four suspects accused of using fraudulent credit cards.

On Sunday, March 3, between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., three unidentified black men and one woman allegedly used fraudulent credit cards at Lassus Handy Dandy gas stations in Ligonier, North Webster, Warsaw and Wolcottville.

The credit cards were used to purchase a large amount of Newport cigarettes.

The woman was described as wearing dark clothing; one man was wearing a gray and green shirt; one man was wearing a black sweatshirt and hat; and one man was wearing a gold jacket, white shirt and dark pants.

They were all traveling in a white Jeep and compact silver sport utility vehicle.

Three of the suspects produced Illinois identification during the transactions.
