FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Coming off a disappointing home opener loss to the Kalamazoo Wings, the Fort Wayne Komets (1-3-0) look to put an end to their three-game losing streak Friday night against their arch-rivals, the Toledo Walleye.

Last season the Ks were 6-2-0 against Toledo in eight meetings.  The Komets were unbeaten at home and 2-2-0 at Toledo’s Huntington Center.  The Walleye (1-1-1) are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss Saturday at Indy, and will face the Cincinnati Cyclones tomorrow night.

Friday night’s game will be at 8pm at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne. The next night will see the Komets head to Toledo for the Walleye home opener at 7:15pm. Both games can be heard on WOWO, 1190AM/107.5FM, or at Komets.com.

Friday night’s game is also a big Halloween party, as every child in attendance is invited to wear their favorite Halloween costume for a parade on the ice during intermission, and a chance at prizes.
