FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Komets will have to move on without the only player they’ve had so far from their affiliation deal with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.

Goaltender Zach Fucale was reassigned to the AHL’s Chicago Wolves by Vegas Monday. Fucale appeared in four games for Fort Wayne, with a 1-3 record and registering a goals-against average of 4.23 and .853 save percentage.

The Komets (1-5-0) have two goalies – Kyle Hayton and Lukas Hafner – still on the roster.

The Ks will host a weekend home double-header this weekend, first facing the Indy Fuel Friday at 8pm, then the Kalamazoo Wings Saturday at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the Memorial Coliseum box office, and both games can be heard live on WOWO.
