VAN WERT, Ohio (WOWO): A Van Wert County juvenile was arrested Thursday for making threatening social media posts toward Crestview Schools and its students.

Sheriff Thomas Riggenbach tells WOWO News his office began investigating two posts on Instagram, which led them to a home in Convoy, Ohio.

Police took several items as evidence, although exactly what was taken wasn’t described, and interviewed the juvenile, who confessed.

Charges of inducing panic and telecommunications harassment have been filed, and additional charges may be coming.
