Human remains found in Ohio park closer to being indentified

CELINA, Ohio (WOWO): Human remains found in Mercer County, Ohio recently are closer to being identified.

Detectives are currently searching the NamUS (National Missing and Unidentified Person System) databases looking for missing persons in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

So far, six people fit the description of the remains found at the Grand Lake Saint Marys State Park near Celina, according to 21Alive. They’re looking for a missing man between 20 and 35 years of age that stands 5’7 to 6’1 tall and went missing in 2015.

The bones are being researched at the University of North Texas, but results will still take a few months to come in.
