FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A coalition formed to figure out what to do with the former General Electric campus in downtown Fort Wayne got some answers yesterday.

The coalition was presented with the results of a study yesterday done on three public meetings that had been held in February seeking feedback from residents looking to share their ideas, according to our Partners in News at 21Alive.

By and large, residents said they want to preserve the campus’ “historical integrity,” while adding an “anchor” attraction to bring in tourism.

Greater Fort Wayne Inc. has sent a copy of the study’s findings to GE officials. There’s currently no word on what, if anything, will be done as a result of the study.
