FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – You can grab coffee with a cop this Saturday.

The Fort Wayne Police Department and other law enforcement departments in the community will be partnering with the McDonald’s across from Glenbrook Mall (255 E. Coliseum Blvd.) for the Coffee with a Cop event.

The event allows residents to get to know their local law enforcement officers, as well as voice concerns or ask questions about the community.

“Cookies with a Cop for Kids” will take place at the same time, allowing children to get to know local law enforcement officers.

McDonald’s will provide a free small black drip coffee for all adults, and a free warm chocolate chip cookie for kids during the event.

Coffee with a Cop will take place from 9-11 a.m.
