FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police detectives are asking for your help identifying a robbery suspect captured on camera.

On Tuesday, May 29 around 2:30 p.m., officers were called to the Belmont Beverage located in the Southgate Shopping Plaza. Once there, police learned an employee was taking a deposit to the bank, when the suspect, armed with a taser, got out of a small black car and demanded the employee to “give the bag.”

The employee described the suspect as black, approximately 5’8″ tall, skinny, no older than his mid-30s, and wearing a blue bandana below his eyes along with a black hoodie.

Once the suspect got what he wanted, he got back into the nearby vehicle. The employee described the vehicle as a black hatchback, possibly a Hyundai or Subaru. The employee also told police another man, wearing a hat, black and possibly bald, was driving the vehicle.

Anyone recognizing the suspect and or his vehicle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
