FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department are investigating an armed robbery at the Fifth Third Bank on Lima Road across from the Home Depot.

According to Fort Wayne Dispatch, officers were still on the scene as of 8:40 a.m., Friday. Officers are asking that you avoid the area. In the meantime stay tuned to WOWO for more updates.
