FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – This weekend is filled with unique events, such as the Fort Wayne Women’s Expo, the 2018 Bridal Extravaganza, a Garden Close-Up at the Botanical Conservatory, and much more!

Lay of the Land Discussion – Friday, Feb. 23 @ 6-8 p.m.
Attend this free event at the Tom and Jane Dustin Nature Preserve, 1802 Chapman Rd. Share your thoughts and questions with others who also think about land, conservation, and the act of protecting the places we love.

Fort Wayne Komets vs. Greenville – Friday, Feb. 23 @ 8 p.m.
Join the Jungle and cheer on the Fort Wayne Komets this Friday as they take on Greenville. Adult tickets range from $13-$28 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change – Friday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 25 and Thursday, March 1 through Saturday, March 3
The play’s premise is, “Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.” The play takes place at the Williams Theatre at IPFW, 2101 E. Coliseum Blvd. Buy tickets here.

Three Rivers Music Theatre Presents CABARET at The Philmore on Broadway – Friday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, Feb. 25 and Thursday, March 1 through Sunday, March 4
CABARET is an “intoxicating theatrical experience, featuring well-known classics of the musical stage.” Doors open one hour before each performance. A cash bar and food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $40 VIP, $25 general admission, $20 bar rail seating/students.

ARCH Fun & Free Lecture Series: African American Pioneers of Fort Wayne – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 10-11 a.m.
Attend this event for free at the downtown Allen County Public Library, Meeting Room A. The Fun & Free Lecture Series is part of ARCH’s community education programs.

Beauty & the Beast presented by Fort Wayne Ballet – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 10 a.m., 11 a.m., & 1 p.m.
Presented at the Auer Center, 300 East Main St., the Fort Wayne Ballet will put on this magical classic three times throughout the day! All tickets are $10.

Fort Wayne Women’s Expo – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Enjoy spa treatments, fashion shows, shopping, wellness talks and demonstrations, cooking shows and more! Tickets are $7, children 10 years and under are free. This event takes place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Expo I.

Garden Close-Up: Winter Blooming Plants – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Get a close look of the Botanical Conservatory plants and gardens this Saturday with an exploratory walk, hands-on activity or demonstration. Adults are $5, children 3-17 are $3, and children 2 years and under are free.

Fort Wayne Derby Girls Season Opener – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 5 p.m.
This year’s season opener is also Super Hero Night! Come dressed as your favorite super hero, and cheer alongside CW’s Flash and Supergirl. Admission is $12, or two for $20, and partial proceeds will benefit Healthier Moms and Babies, because moms are super heroes! This event takes place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Comedy Night with Hope Flood (R Rated) – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 7:15-11:15 p.m.
Hope Flood speaks about relationships, love lust, motherhood, or just surviving the “New Millennium.” She is one of the fastest rising “keeping it real” female comedians. See her show this Saturday at the Fort Wayne Comedy Club. Tickets are $20 in advance or $30 at the door.

Horizon Arcs – Saturday, Feb. 24 @ 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Horizon Arcs is an American rock band that formed in 2014, influenced by Weezer, Food Fighters and Sublime. Admission is free at O’Sullivan’s Italian Pub.

2018 Bridal Extravaganza – Sunday, Feb. 25 @ Noon – 4 p.m.
From your bouquet to your honey moon, vendors will be on hand to help you find everything you need to make your day perfect. The first 300 registered brides will receive a Vera Bradley tote bag with the latest issue of Fort Wayne Magazine’s Weddings and a helpful Bridal Planner. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 day of show, or $35 VIP.

M.aking A. D.ifference Leadership Event for Teens – Sunday, Feb. 25 @ 2-8 p.m.
Any area 6th-12th graders interested in being a Leader in the home, school or community are invited to attend this event, followed by a free Mad Ants basketball game. The event is designed to encourage our area youth to step up as leaders. Admission is free for teens, $5 for adults.

Mad Ants vs. Iowa Wolves – Sunday, Feb. 25 @ 2 p.m.
Cheer on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants as they take on the Iowa Wolves this Sunday. Tip off is at 2 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Great for kids clubs, youth groups, family outings or date night!
