FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – RootMetrics by IHS Market released a study on Tuesday showing Fort Wayne as the third best city for mobile phone experience.
The study is on callers in 125 cities in America with the biggest population.
Chicago, who is ranked third in population, was in a study of the ten biggest cities in the U.S. and was said to have the best cellphone performance, but ranked 26th in the top 125 mobile phone performance study.
The rankings are comprised of the average RootScores for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon which are the nation’s four major networks. Areas evaluated were network reliability, network speed, data performance, call performance, text performance and overall performance according to the Journal Gazette.
The only other city in Indiana on the list was Indianapolis, which ranked 22nd. In Ohio, Columbus was ranked 2nd and in Michigan, Lansing ranked 14th.
