Fort Wayne Police searching for vehicle that may have been involved in motorcycle crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a person who may have witnessed or been involved in a motorcycle crash.

A mans was driving a motorcycle east on Main Street with a group of other motorcyclists at about 9:17 p.m. Thursday, May 19, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police say the man lost control of the motorcycle and laid it down around Mechanic Street. The man was hospitalized in critical condition. As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, the motorcyclist is still in critical condition.

Now police are searching for a person driving a tan vehicle that was seen turning off of Center Street onto Main Street just before the crash.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or who know the driver of the tan vehicle is asked to contact Tony Maze at 260-427-1373.
