FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people accused of breaking into a vehicle.

Police released a video Wednesday that shows a man attempting to break into the passenger side of a vehicle parked at restaurant on North Clinton and Fairington Drive. The theft happened on Tuesday, Oct. 11, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police say after the clip ends, a second man, pictured above, gets out of a tan pickup truck and breaks the window with a crowbar.

They took a purse and diaper bag, which contained the victim’s checkbook, a credit car and social security card.

Police say the credit card was used at a nearby retail location, but didn’t disclose how much was spent. If you know anything about this crime or the men pictured, contact police or Crime Stoppers at 260-436-7867.
