Flu continues to keep Queen of Angels Catholic School closed

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – For the second time in two days, a Fort Wayne Catholic school sent students home due to the flu.

Our partners in news at ABC 21 report Queen of Angels School will remain closed Tuesday.

The school first closed last Friday after receiving a student absence rate of 31 percent.

Monday, Queen of Angels School reported a 42 percent illness rate among students.

Administrators report following recommendations provided by the Allen County Health Department. The campus is being cleaned to minimize the spread of any illness.
