FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A couple accused of selling stolen electric equipment was arrested Tuesday after police and FBI agents raided their Fort Wayne home.

Dean and Linda Zimmerman were arrested on preliminary charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property, according to our news partners at 21Alive.

Investigators believe Dean Zimmerman stole electronic control boards, circuits and other electric components for HVAC units from his former employer. Then he and his wife sold the equipment on eBay, police say.

The two made more than $300,000 selling stolen parts between October 2015 to May 2016, according to investigators.

On Tuesday, FBI agents and Indiana State Police raided the Zimmermans’ home in the 700 block of St. Joe Road. After the raid, they were both arrested.

To learn how the investigation started and was found inside the home, read the story at 21Alive.
