PAULDING COUNTY, Ohio (WOWO): An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting for a 60-year-old man from Cecil, Ohio.
According to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, 60-year-old Philip Koenn was found dead inside his home on Road 230 at about 12:30pm Thursday.
He lived alone and had several gunshot wounds.
Leads that investigators were able to follow led them to 32-year-old Michael Loop of Defiance. He was booked in the Paulding County Jail on one count of murder.
Sheriff Jason Landers says police were fortunate to get some early tips that led to Loop’s arrest, but adds that more people could be involved and the investigation continues.
