FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A major shakeup is in store for the leadership of the Fort Wayne-based Lutheran Health Network, as CEO Brian Bauer will no longer be serving as its CEO.

That news was broken Monday afternoon by our Partners in News at ABC 21.

The announcement comes after a period of turmoil between local doctors and Lutheran’s parent company, Tennessee-based Community Health Systems, which included a failed $2.4-billion bid to buy the local network away from CHS.

Dupont Hospital CEO Aaron Garofola will also no longer serve at his post, according to ABC 21.

This story is developing. WOWO News will update it as details become available.
