AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): A library in Auburn has been closed indefinitely after a Sunday morning fire.

Auburn firefighters were called to the Eckhart Public Library at about 2:30am to deal with a fire on the first floor, according to the Journal Gazette. The building sustained what was described as “extensive damage” to the first floor, with smoke and heat damage being done to the basement and second floor.

The fire happened in a portion of the library that had been expanded in 1996. Nobody was hurt, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
