FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Problems continue to pile up for tenants of an apartment complex on the south side of Fort Wayne.

Tenants of Astoria Apartments on East Paulding Road tell our Partners in News at ABC 21 they’ve been dealing with a number of maintenance problems, from filthy hallways to sewage backups – some going into the halls – going long periods of time without being fixed.

Kaneisha Woodson says when she complained to the Health Department, apartment management retaliated:

“They came quick to fix it, because I told them probably, but then when they were done fixing it, same day, about an hour later, I had an eviction notice on my door.”

Management didn’t comment to ABC 21 on the story. Three health and safety notices were issued against the complex Tuesday.
