Amber Alert declared for 2-month-old Hammond baby

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been cancelled. The Hammond Police Department said they were found safe.

HAMMOND, Ind. (WOWO): A 2-month-old Hammond baby and his mother are believed to be in danger after police say they were abducted. amber-alert-2

An Amber Alert has been issued for Raphael Bevineau and his mother, Yolanda Walker.

Bevineau is 2-months-old, black and 1 feet 8 inches tall. He has brown wavy hair, green eyes and a dimple in his chin. Police don’t know what he is wearing.

Walker is 20-years-old, black and 5 feet 4 inches tall. She has brown hair, hazel eyes and a birthmark under one eye. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and Grinch pajama pants.

The two were last seen at 8 p.m. est. on Sunday, Oct. 2 in Hammond, Ind., which is 23 miles south of Chicago. Police believe they could be in extreme danger.

amber-alertThe Hammond Police Department believe the non-custodial father, Ralph Bevineau, abducted Raphael Bevineau and Walker.

They could be in a gold Chevy Trailblazer or similar type SUV.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Hammond Police Department at 1-888-582-6237.
