LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were hospitalized after a buggy crash in LaGrange County.

At about 6:30 p.m. Friday, a car and buggy were traveling north on County Road 300 West in LaGrange County, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the car said she was trying to pass the buggy when the buggy started to make a left turn at the intersection of County Road 300 West and County Road 300 South.

During the process, the buggy was partially over its lane. The driver of the car tried to pull back behind the buggy. At some point, the car hit the end of the buggy, which caused the buggy to flip over.

A small child inside the buggy and the driver of the car were hospitalized.
