WARSAW, Ind. (WOWO): A buying spree for a major Warsaw company continues.

Zimmer Biomet is set to add French company Medtech SA to its growing list of recent purchases, according to Inside Indiana Business.

The medical device company will be purchasing nearly 60 percent of Medtech’s shares once it creates a subsidiary to comply with French laws. The boards of both companies have approved the purchase.

Zimmer Biomet will continue operations at Medtech’s current French headquarters and will actually make it a hub for its surgical robotic development activities.

Just last week, Zimmer completed the purchase of Texas-based spine technology business LDR Holding Corporation.
