FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A woman was killed after being hit by a train Sunday afternoon.

Fort Wayne Police tell the Journal Gazette the man was hit near Hanna and Berry Streets at around 2:40pm. She died at the scene.

The train stopped after the accident. Norfolk Southern police are investigating.

No further details have been released.
